But it was the most Norwegian of the songs that finally won, Alvedansen, a song heavily influenced by Norwegian folk music, sung by the beautiful Christine Gulbrandsen (right).
Some old troopers were in here, Geir Rønning last year represented Finland, Tor Endresen represented Norway in 1997, and Hanne Haugsand was part of Charmed for Norway in 2000. Marit Strømøy was also a member of Charmed, but not at the time of the 2000 final in Stockholm. Queentastic are a two-queen drag act. Their song has a great pedigree - its written by Swede Thomas G:son with Malta's Gerard James Borg, both of whom have trod the Eurovision stage many a year.
