The writer of last year's Bosnian entry (and the 2003 Croatian entry) Andrej Babic teams up agian with last year's EMA second-placed Saa Lendero with the song Mandoline.
However Saa came second again in the contest, despite getting
maximum points from the two telephone votes (fixed & cellular),
as the song got no points from the jury. This seems to have been the
pattern for Slovene finals for several years - the people's choice
loses. Anej Dean seems a lot like last year's Omar
Naber for Slovenia, but let's hope he does better.
The show had a lot of Slovene comedy, which I hope the Slovenes found
funnier than I did.
There will be a DVD shortly - see the DVD page.
